Dark Ascension - Pinnacle of Human Evolution - Eye of Mirrors

This would be the answer to player created Dark Shroud characters, without limitations. Think X-Men, without an X-Gene.

The Eye of Mirrors: The Eye of Mirrors is in fact a mystical artifact in the shape of a pink prismatic crystal ball. Each jagged edge creates a mirror and window into the many possible futures. When used by a skilled psychic, the Eye allows for that psychic to look into the futures themselves. But which future is the true future? That is the curse of the Eye and the reason it is incapable of being used to accurately predict any form of future.

Evolutionary Process: The evolutionary process is a series of Alega'os technologies capable of drawing on a human's evolutionary potential by isolating and rapidly mutating their genes. Unfortunately while it can attempt to predict the general outcome it is 95% of the time incorrect and 75% of the time a fatal process, causing cellular breakdown.

Dark Ascension: A culmination of all of Lord Morcalivan and Alega'os genetic and technological knowledge combined with the mystical properties of the Eye of Mirrors to plot out possible mutations when exploring each gene. Once enough data is presented on the genes and a common mutation is located. A new exploration of the possible methods of aquiring that mutation is undertaken to aquire more data. Once finished the final process where the actual mutation takes place occurs. Since then, 70% of mutation predictions have proven correct and 90% have survived the process, 5% aquiring abnormal physical mutation. But those are easily dealt with if they become an issue, permanently dealt with.
