| I remember we came up with an actual idea (an island with an underwater base), but did we have a name for our base? I'll port over the brainstorming ideas for this in a bit. We even had a couple layouts done up, too. | |

| Im thinking more of a island with every type of element on it. If we put ourselves underground it might be a bit odd, unless you do it where there are different levels to our base. Like the lowest or one annex has a lava flow running through it for fire, another annex has an underground river, the top or third annex would be a wind tunnel of some sort, while the last could be a pure cave annex filled with various minerals.
Seems something like that would go well with the idea of the guild. | |

Seems something like that would go well with the idea of the guild. I think we had somethin' like this but I'm not entirely sure. I remember us saying the overall "layout" would be akin to the Justice League Watchtower, but everyone's personal dorm/room could be tailored to their element or origin. For instance, if we have a 'sorcerer' type character on the team, he or she could have a room similar to Dr. Strange's tower; or if we had a water elemental who wanted to be submerged in water 24/7 while at base, he or she could have that. We were using Merewetherian (where Yin comes from) technology to build the base and support it, as well as use Liquidz character's ship (or forget what it was) to be an aerial defense base for us. Not that we would need that many defenses surrounding us since we control the elements. | |

| I believe it was called the Tempestria, or Tempest.
And when I wrote 'what not' for personal rooms, I probably shoulda elaborated on the 'fit to the person' thing, as it was talked about. | |

Thats an interesting thought, but hopefully our base location would not need to be secret, cause Id imagine a giant floating base of light would be pretty bright and easily give away our position. | |

| Morcalivan's base before joiningg CotE is a custom built prison for Dark Shroud experiments.
Can't exactly put pooeple like Pathogen in the hands of the government, he'd be used as a weapon, if they could contain'em. | |

it would be more like an alternate base for RP ing purposes...my older character was more like hmmm i guess a cross between the Captain Marvel (marvel version) and Captain Kirk....(Named Captain Nova) he was a future member of the Children of Elements that has taken there mission to defending the galaxy too. And he came back in time through a series of events with his badly damaged ship that I was going to use as the JL's Javelin...because teams members didnt really want to be so far from earth, etc etc....so it offered the team an earthly realm and if need be a space station of sorts. My character has been revamped and the star ship doesn't seem like him anymore...more mystical, less science fiction. Here is my working idea. Also from a dark future, however, Children of the Elements have splintered into warring factions, each with there own self righteous way of protecting the World ( villainy has been defeated but at a high price...to save earth, heroes became the authority figures not just the enforcers.. instead of handing criminals over to justice, heroes enacted there own justice, however within that they lost there humanity and instead became "false Gods"...since we control elements /a lot of early Gods did too so it was like reverting back to a mythological time.) In any case the factions that we know now will be divided and rule over feudal territory like sovereign nations, or kingdoms, with different royalty..(super powered heroes) so the Paradise of the Sky(wind), or the House of Stone,(earth) but even within elemental factions there is disagreement and it would be common to have multiple "wind" or fire houses...like the Dynasty of Thunder (another wind faction) Im still working out the kinks, my character is a light based hero, possibly a pacifist that has somehow ended up in this time..and sort of distrust the Children of the Elements only because he knows they will succeed in purging the world of crime, famine etc...but at a dangerous cost and he hopes to somehow prevent this from happening.... sadly one idea of stopping them is making them unsuccessful however the future could be full of crime and whatnot...so that isn't an option, with hindsight on his side he hopes to ensure the future of humanity and prevent the totalitarianism..... its really weak right now..because i haven't given it too much thought because if i cant build character i'll have to change things ~~~~~~~~~ Back to the base....so if i do go with this guy instead of star ship, the floating light construct would be called the "Light House" actually might forget the whole time travel thingy...with my character being more a controller based with mental powers...giving him some foresight would make sense and it would always be cool to see the future change with every decision..etc etc...like in the movie Push | |

| Great ideas so far. I like the ideas of having elemental based sub-bases for the whole compound. The islands idea has merit as well. What about having the main base be the underwater ideas spread out between the islands with each of those being for each individual faction? | |

| I thought we were talking about one island, but now that you mention it.
Multiple islands sounds cool. We could have different islands hold different creatures and bases.
Different scenarios caused by the seperation and one of the islands being the 'public' and 'safe zone' island.
Yeah, I think that could work nicely.
They could form a bay of sorts for fresh water, possibly where the water base is located in?
The islands could even be unatturally moved, brought together by our members and/or Yin? | |

thanks, i was reluctant to use any characters from the team, because it wouldnt be right...its like me saying, stan lee meant for peter parker to become a doctor in the future and open a clinic with reed richards. | |
